My Mother abandoned my father and fled to seek a better life; my father worked hard and has money, but I continue to provide for him – Shatta Wale Reveals His Parental Relationship

 Shatta Wale, the multi-award-winning dancehall artist, has gathered momentum to face his mother's charges as he continues to disclose more family truths. As a result, he blames his mother for his terrible childhood because she abandoned her marital home.

Mama Shatta, real name Madam Elsie Evelyn Avemegah, accused her son of abandonment and neglect, leading to her homelessness. She also described how poorly Shatta had treated her, despite the sacrifices she made to ensure his success.

In a counter-narrative, the dancehall star has accused his mother of sabotaging his family's aspirations to improve their circumstances. Shatta Wale, in typical Shatta Wale form, shouted vehemently about his family's suffering as a result of his mother's greed.

"I come from a shattered family." My mother abandoned my father. Let me tell you something, people. In Ghana, when I was in SHS 1, we studied thirteen topics. I'm not a machine or a factory that needs to master thirteen subjects per day. So I informed my father that I would be unable to complete my education.

My father then intended to relocate the family to Miami (USA). My father was the first to introduce me to the city of Miami. I used to travel to London and other places as a child. He'd acquired a job in America and wanted to move his family there. My mother abandoned my father, my sister, and my brother. She dismissed the plans. She fled and abandoned my father. My father tried and tried again. God bears witness for us."

He also stated that he has not abandoned anyone in his life. And the only way someone could refute that claim is by ingratitude.
